오늘 Racing Appeal Panel이 심의할 사항과 출석자들

오늘은 City Office에서 appeal에 대해 참관하는 날이었다.
첫번째 심의내용은 Track Rider인 여자가 월요일 조교중에 약물검사를 하였는데 cocaine을 복용한 사실이 들어났고 이를 감추기 위해 Lasix까지 복용했던 사안이었다. 이로 인해 9개월에 면허정지 처분을 받았다. 하지만 이 여자는 영국 국적을 가지고 working visa로 일을 하고 있었기 때문에 9개월의 면허정지 처분을 받으면 본국으로 돌아가야 하는 상황이었다. 그래서 제재량이 가혹하다는 걸로 재심을 청구하였다.
변호사까지 대동하여 재심을 청구하였지만 결과는 재심이 기각되어 본국으로 돌아가야 하는 상황이었다.
Licensed Trackwork Rider Anneliese Kamper-Blower lodged an appeal against the severity of her suspension for 9 months by Stewards acting under AR81A(1)(a). The Appeal was set down for Friday, 23 November 2012 at 11.30am at Racing NSW.
*This appeal was heard on 23rd November 2012. The appeal was dismissed and the penalty confirmed. The appeal deposit is forfeited. The suspension is to be effective immediately and to expire on 23rd August 2013. The suspension will be reduced by three months (to 23rd May 2012) should Ms Kamper-Blower undergo and successfully complete a period of professional counselling
두번째 심의내용은 경주 후 약물이 검출되어 4개월에 면허정지를 처분받은 조교사가 제재수준이 가혹하다는 재심을 청구하였다. 결과는 재심이 기각되었다.
Licensed Trainer Mr Darren Graham lodged an Appeal against the severity of a penalty imposed by Stewards acting under AR178 after a prohibited substance was found in a urine sample collected from Gambino after it won the Class 1 Handicap at the Lismore Turf Club meeting held on Saturday, 12 May 2012. Mr Graham pleaded guilty to the charge and his licence was suspended in full for a period of 4 months to expire on Sunday, 13th January 2013. Gambino was disqualified from the race. A Stay of Proceedings was granted until the day the Appeal was scheduled. The appeal was part heard and adjourned to Friday, 23 November 2012 at Racing NSW.
*This appeal was heard on 23rd November 2012. The appeal was dismissed and the penalty confirmed. The appeal deposit is forfeited. The suspension is to be effective immediately and to expire on 23rd March 2013. Any runners nominated by Mr Graham to race on 24th November 2012 may not run unless they are transferred to a professional licensed trainer approved by the Stewards. Mr Graham may attend to the welfare of all horses presently under his care but they may not be worked until they have been transferred to another trainer. The Stewards allow Mr Graham 7 (seven) days from today to complete such transfers.
